企業為擴大市場版圖分散營運風險，進行對外投資已經成為必要的趨勢；面對日新月益的市場需求，向海外擴張的同時，紛紛開始發展新產品與新市場以提高利潤。臺灣屬於島嶼地形環境，資源及內需市場有限，因此為了因應競爭激烈的市場環境，產品多元化已成為企業追求成長重要的經營策略。本研究採用經濟部統計處2007年製造業對外投資的實況調查問卷資料，有效樣本計1770家，並依據對外投資與產品多元化的相關文獻，歸納為組織因素、投資因素、資源因素、策略因素、資金因素，並以probit model進行實證分析，探討影響海外投資廠商對國內產品多元化的決定因素。經本研究實證發現，就組織因素而言，「廠商規模」與「廠商行業」是影響海外投資廠商對國內產品多元化的重要因素；而投資因素中，「投資地區」、「投資擴充」及「投資動機」是重要的影響因素；資源因素之「技術來源」是重要因素；策略因素之「經營策略」為重要因素；就資金因素而言，「資本支出」及「獲利狀況」是影響海外投資廠商對國內產品多元化的重要因素。

無論我國航運公司所屬船舶有無「權宜船籍」的問題，於船舶航經英國法權或間接繼受英國法學之區域（如美國、澳洲、紐西蘭、新加坡、香港與加拿大等），皆有受該海事法系統管轄之可能。海上犯罪之行為地管轄固勿論，即使英國非行為地，英國海事法向來均允許對航經英國法權之船舶、運費或貨載等財產（res；property）進行扣押（arrest）以取得對財產之管轄權，俾迫使財產之利害關係人提供擔保或出庭應訊，故即使位居東南亞的我國航運公司亦有了解英國海事法程序特殊性之必要，此不僅可事先規避可能遭受司法扣押的風險，於受扣押之後，亦可即使採取適當行為減少損害進而保護應有權利。因此，對我國航運公司而言，對英國海事程序，特別是對物訴訟（action in rem）的研究不啻為一種法律上的「風險管理」（Risk Management）。 本文第二章介紹以複雜著稱的英國法院系統，並將重心置於海事法院之地位與其管轄權之發展，並分類逐條論述海事法院之對物訴訟管轄權（即何種性質之請求權得提海事對物訴訟）。第三章為本文重心，介紹英國對物訴訟理論之發展，並對其理論形成之歷史景、本質理論（程序說（procedural th...

本論文主要在探討雲林地區「給神明作契子」的現象，主要的研究地區是海豐堡和布嶼西堡二地。本研究針對廟方、契子和其家人三方面作深入的研究，從過渡儀式、傳統觀念中不潔的概念、民俗醫療為理論基礎，分析孩子「給神明作契子」的原因、儀式的進行、影響和社會意義。 本研究主要的發現有以下幾點： 1. 「給神明作契子」儀式的操控者是孩子的父母、家人，而儀式主要治療的對象除了契子以外，還有契子的家人。 2. 從契子家人的觀點出發，在「給神明作契子」的原因方面，可分為四種：「歹育飼」、家中男丁不旺、家族或地方上的傳統習慣、其它的原因。而父母讓孩子「給神明作契子」，主要的心態有二：一是治療性的心態，一是預防性的心態。 3. 在「給神明作契子」的社會意義方面，此儀式主要是處理社會上個人脫序的問題，經過儀式的進行，使個體恢復正常。所以無論在契子或其家人的身上，「給神明作契子」的儀式都展現了過渡儀式的意義。另一方面，從民俗醫療的觀點來看，「給神明作契子」的儀式是一種治療，對於契子來說，它主要是解決社會文化的疾病，同時它也對契子的家人，產生了心理治療的效果。 4. 除此之外，本研究也分析了不同類型的廟宇對於「給神明作...
