綜觀文學史，不難察見故事迭經不同時代，被文士再複述、再創造，或體現於敘事技巧、或中心思想，或跨文本、跨文化表現，重置為中國傳統流衍不輟的課題。重置作為一種創作技巧，一種看待事物的新方式，強調文本與文本之間的差異，從文學修辭觀看，指陳作者的書寫策略，即對於前文本的接受與創新，凸顯作者的主體性；依文化層面反思，則攸關時代語境，故事再現什麼樣的集體記憶，以及藝文流動的旅程。 以此為思考起點，本文以上海新感覺派為對象。新感覺派由法國而日本，而上海，而台灣，甚至輾轉進入哈爾濱，無論在創作風格、理念的薪傳與轉折，作家隨著不同環境各自再生產，透過翻譯或改編，彼此互文，都說明流派本身即體現跨地域跨文化的重寫現象。循此，本文欲從流派涉及的報刊、翻譯、小說、電影等為範圍，針對藝文改編深入探討，一方面從翻譯對象和模式窺看流派的美學品味、意識形態和文化反思；另一方面，透過前文本和改寫作品參差對照，展現新感覺派在跨國、跨文化流動過程有何承續和衍異，從而勾勒流派歷時歷地的大系譜。
