本文以《山海經》郭璞注為主要研究對象，針對郭璞之注加以梳理、分類，並在此基礎上探討《山海經》郭璞注之特色，分析其與漢人對《山海經》的傳統認識觀點之間的聯繫與差異，探討郭璞如何既對漢人的《山海經》傳統認識觀點有所繼承，又在魏晉玄學興盛的歷史脈絡之下，開創出他對於《山海經》的獨特理解並從注釋中展現其博物觀。最末，則進一步探討明、清學者如何評價《山海經》郭璞注，而從明、清學者之評價中掌握《山海經》郭璞注之意義與價值。 在章節的安排上，本文第二章首先討論漢代學者對《山海經》的認識，以期在漢人對《山海經》的認識基礎上探討郭璞對《山海經》的注釋與詮釋；其後於第三章則以郭璞注文及圖讚為討論重心，探討從劉歆〈上《山海經》〉到郭璞〈注《山海經》敘〉之間的聯繫與發展，並就郭璞的基礎注釋工作及徵引書籍加以梳理、分類，說明郭璞注文之特色，並透過對《山海經圖讚》之內容之分類，釐清郭璞《山海經圖讚》形式與內容上的特色；第四章則就郭璞對《山海經》的詮釋與後世評價的討論為主，探討郭璞結合氣與玄理所展現出的達觀博物的詮釋觀點，將郭璞的博物觀歸納為苞覽宇宙的博物觀與實用的博物觀兩項；最末，則觀察明、清學者如何從考據校正與...
